Sure we still have a few people (very few) pay rent with a check or money order. However, our rent collection services allow tenants to pay online from a bank checking account or savings account. Also, we allow tenants to pay rent with a credit card. Many use our autopay feature. Although we don’t accept cold hard cash at our office, we have an arrangement with every CVS store and 7-11 store in the country that allows our tenants to pay them cash and once their paycode is scanned the tenant receives a receipt and rent is credited to our rent ledger.
In summary, tenants can pay rent online, or with cash almost anywhere in the country 24/7/365. The easier we make it for tenants to pay rent on time, the sooner we can transfer money to your bank account.
